At Sigma Test and Tag, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive test and tag services that help you meet your safety obligations while ensuring the safety, quality, and reliability of your equipment. Our team of experts employs reliable, calibrated Portable Appliance Testers to deliver accurate and timely results in accordance with Australian Standard requirements.

We offer 10, 15, 20, and 32 amp testing to comply with these standards.

Our pricing is $25/hr plus $4.00 per tag during business hours and $5.00 per tag outside of regular business hours. There is also a $100 call-out fee for jobs under 50 tags, with additional travel fees applicable beyond city limits.

Please note that the hourly rate will be waived if all appliances are collected at one location.

Wait a minute, these other guys are only charging $ 2.95 per tag, AND they are qualified Electricians and you're just an Electrical Contractor. Why would i pay you $ 4.00 a tag plus $ 25.00 per hour?

Great question, although it may seem like a no brainer to choose an Electrician for $ 2.95 per tag, however whats not always disclosed in their ad is, an Electrician can run you upwards of $100.00 per hour for the same service.

What if you find a damaged plug that needs replacing? You're not even qualified to change it!

In my extensive experience working in the construction industry, a worn plug or lead has generally served it's time and purpose and is better being replaced entirely as apposed to a new plug replacement, even if an expensive piece of equipment requires this step, the saving on the hourly rate would cover an Electricians time.
